As the Finance Manager for the Middle East, you will report directly to the EVP of Finance and be responsible for managing interactions with regulators, auditors, and other external parties. Your duties will include preparing operating budgets, maintaining local accounting mechanisms, overseeing cash flow with treasury controls, and developing a comprehensive financial strategy to support business growth goals while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
In addition to maintaining stress testing methodologies and scenarios that meet regulatory requirements, you will build professional relationships with regulators, auditors, banking partners, and other stakeholders. You will also produce financial forecasts and reports for senior management while providing assistance on new business initiatives and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in the Financial Services sector within regulated environments. Chartered accountancy certifications such as CPA or ACA are required, along with prior experience as a named Finance Officer for regulatory licenses in the Middle East. Proficiency in cash flow management specific to the UAE/Middle East region is essential. Knowledge of IFRS principles, crypto-related subjects, NetSuite system familiarity, project management skills, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves are all valuable assets for this role.
