Title: Global Head of Corporate Finance
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Role Brief:
We are seeking a highly qualified Global Head of Corporate Finance to spearhead
our established team. Whether you are already operating at a strategic level or aspiring to
take on the leadership role of a Global Team, this position offers a unique opportunity to
significantly impact Bboxx’s group equity and debt financial transactions. The role involves
cultivating robust relationships internally and externally, engaging with both existing and
prospective investors and partners.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the CEO and Executive Team,
undertaking the following key responsibilities:
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Group CFO to support him elaborate on the annual funding plan for the Group entities.
Run the end-to-end process of financial transactions, including raising equity and/or debt, managing M&A, and establishing joint ventures.
First point of contact for major business stakeholders across multiple locations.
Lead and guide a diverse team of dedicated corporate financiers across multiple locations.
Contribute to the company's growth to the next level in an exhilarating and dynamic industry at the intersection of technology and energy, with a profound social impact.
Qualifications
Possess a solid academic background, with a minimum bachelor’s degree in finance/business administration or equivalent professional experience.
Demonstrate proven and relevant work experience in areas such as Investment
Banking, private equity, accounting firm, or high-yield corporate.
Exhibit experience in the renewable energy sector, preferably in solar technology, with a particular focus on African (or Emerging Markets) exposure.
Engage with exceptional communication and negotiation skills, coupled with strong leadership potential.
Demonstrate robust analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in project management.
Showcase a track record of leading teams and an ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, with flexibility to adapt to dynamic market conditions.
Embody ambition and high motivation, coupled with a positive can-do attitude.
Be comfortable operating in a fast-paced international environment and possess the desire and ability to travel.
Must be fluent in both English and French (mandatory).
