As the Associate Director / Director of Project Finance, you will lead project finance deal teams for assigned projects from inception to financial close. Your responsibilities will include assessing financiability, restructuring financing as needed, and ensuring compliance with covenants post-financial close. You will collaborate closely with various departments such as financial modeling, tax, legal, and business development to ensure successful execution of financing mandates. Additionally, you will be responsible for negotiation, documentation, relationship management with JKP's banking partners, and overseeing third-party advisors related to financing functions.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years' experience in project finance or structured finance with a top-tier international bank or recognized developer in the renewable energy or infrastructure sector. Hands-on experience in non-recourse financing within the Middle East is advantageous. Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated success in deal structuring are essential for this role. Excellent communication skills, both internal and external relationship management capabilities, result-driven mindset, creativity in problem-solving, teamwork proficiency in culturally sensitive environments are key attributes we seek. While qualifications in accounting, legal or engineering are not mandatory but preferred; a bachelor's degree from an internationally recognized university is required.
