As a Chartered Accountant (Financial Services) at Thomas Ren Associates Ltd, you will play a crucial role in our finance team. You will be responsible for processing payments in accordance with established policies and procedures with full accountability. Additionally, you will ensure the accuracy of recording, maintaining, and analyzing completeness of tagging of Assets while aligned to the Asset Management System. Your role will also involve preparing invoices against reimbursements expenses for subsidiaries & others, as well as preparing quarterly VAT reports, overdue receipts reports, and Fixed Assets Schedules quarterly. Furthermore, you will be responsible for monthly and annual reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts related to Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets & Accounts Receivable.
To excel in this role, you must be a Chartered Accountant with experience working within a large corporate blue chip company and preferably within the financial services industry. You should have strong English communication skills with high attention to detail. A good understanding of Accounting Principles & Standards as per IFRS is essential, along with knowledge of relevant UAE law. Strong analytical abilities and intellectual capabilities are crucial for this position. Moreover, you should possess excellent reporting skills, diligence, organization skills, alertness to details, research skills, problem-solving abilities, quality focus, proactiveness, steadfastness along with proficiency in Oracle ERP systems.
