Head of Finance - Renewable Energy

As the Head of Finance, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations and commercial activities within the energy sector. Your responsibilities will include strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. You will develop and maintain financial models for various projects related to Hybrid Systems Power Plants, Solar PV systems, ESCO initiatives, Renewable Energy projects, and EPC ventures. Additionally, you will be responsible for negotiating lease contracts with customers while ensuring proper governance in the finance function.

Key accountabilities of this role include developing financial models for long-term solar power projects, overseeing budgeting processes aligned with business objectives, analyzing financial performance to identify trends for cost optimization and revenue enhancement. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams on new projects' business cases and provide strategic guidance to support business growth in the energy sector.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in finance or related fields along with relevant professional certifications such as CA, CFA, or CPA. A minimum of 15 years of experience in finance with at least 5 years in the energy sector is required. Proficiency in financial analysis tools like Excel is essential along with strong negotiation skills and knowledge of market dynamics within the industry.
