J10 Consulting, a reputable Multi-National Engineering Consultancy based in Dubai, is seeking a skilled and experienced Consultant Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. Specializing in new build projects, the successful candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing design review, material submittals, documentation, and site coordination within the UAE. Only applicants with prior experience working for recognized supervision consultants or PMC Companies will be considered for this role.
As a Consultant Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to the Resident Engineer and overseeing all Mechanical Works during the construction phase of projects. Responsibilities include monitoring and inspecting contractor works to ensure compliance with contractual agreements, as well as managing other members of the engineering staff. Collaborating closely with Structural, Architectural, and Electrical disciplines, you will coordinate with contractors and sub-contractors to ensure accuracy and sequencing of works.
Key responsibilities also involve reviewing proposals for Mechanical Installations in alignment with other discipline requirements, advising on placement and routing of mechanical services, coordinating design issues with Head Office Mechanical Engineers, and conducting periodic site inspections of mechanical systems. You will be responsible for inspecting HVAC installations such as Extract Fans, AHUs, Chillers, as well as other mechanical systems like Water Tanks and Pumps to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.
This position offers an immediate start on an initial 3-month contract basis as an outsource employed by J10 Consulting.
