We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor with expertise in water drainage and stormwater networks to join our team in Dubai. As a Quantity Surveyor at Stantec, you will play a crucial role in managing costs related to infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to budget constraints. Your responsibilities will include cost planning, quantity take-off, bill of quantities preparation in CESMM format, estimating, tender and contract document production, report writing, claim evaluation/negotiation, post-contract administration, valuation of variations, agreement of new rates, Taking Over Certificates and Defects Liability Certificates for infrastructure contracts.
The ideal candidate should possess relevant tertiary qualifications such as a BSc QS and professional certifications like MRICS. A minimum of 10 years' experience across all facets of quantity surveying is required for this role. Experience specifically in water infrastructure projects is mandatory. This position offers full-time employment within the water treatment industry encompassing desalination and waste management sectors.
