Currie & Brown is looking for an Associate (Cost Management) to join our team in Abu Dhabi, working in a post contract role on an exciting leisure / entertainment project. As an Associate you'll be working closely with a key client and leading post-contract cost management services across a portfolio of exciting projects in the UAE.
What will you be doing?
Providing accurate post contract cost management advice to our clients
Lead a team and provide continuous development
Delivering assignments competently and professionally
Managing resources, cost and time effectively to ensure margins are met
Providing regular feedback to the director on the commissions under your management.
Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships
What do you need?
BSc in quantity surveying or equivalent
Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) is preferred
Previous technical delivery experience gained within a global construction consultancy
Middle East experience is preferred
Good technical report writing, client-facing and communication skills (both internal and external)
Experience of a variety of sectors is beneficial, including hospitality, residential, retail, education, infrastructure, commercial and leisure projects
Experience of managing and leading others within a live project environment
