As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at XYZ Corporation, you will oversee all aspects of financial functions within the organization. You will offer financial insights to aid in decision-making processes, communicate effectively with stakeholders on financial matters, evaluate business opportunities for their impact on current operations, collaborate with partners to optimize customer collections and KPIs, oversee budget preparation and presentation processes, monitor cash flows and trends, manage banking activities in conjunction with company leaders, ensure timely financial reporting to headquarters, enhance internal financial policies and procedures for efficiency, supervise bookkeeping functions including general ledger maintenance and payroll processing. Additionally negotiate financial services as needed.
The ideal candidate for this position must possess a master's degree in finance or accounting (or an MBA), along with professional accounting qualifications. A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role—preferably within utility or environmental sectors—is required. Strong analytical skills for financial planning purposes are essential alongside exceptional leadership qualities that foster effective communication within teams.
