As the Financial Affairs Director at AUE, you will be responsible for analyzing the financial climate and market trends to provide forecasted financial information for long-term planning. You will manage financial risk by developing plans, conducting risk assessments, and minimizing financial risks effectively. Additionally, you will oversee key financial functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Flow Management, Tax, Payroll, Financial, and Management Accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

In this role, you will prepare official reports and financial statements on a monthly and annual basis while liaising with auditors during audits. You will also be involved in evaluating investment options to maximize the university's financial performance and asset growth. Furthermore, you will diversify revenue sources by identifying new income streams or partnerships to strengthen our financial stability. Your ability to provide comprehensive financial reports and analytical insights to senior management will be crucial for strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field with over 10 years of experience in finance or accounting. Strong communication skills along with professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, CIA, CFA, CCAA or equivalent are preferred.
