Our team in the Middle East is expanding with exciting new projects currently ongoing and on the horizon. As such, Sia Partners is looking to fill a Senior Consultant - Finance position in the UAE (Abu Dhabi and/or Dubai), where the applying candidate will be part of a project delivery team for a Government entity.
As a full-time Senior Consultant at Sia Partners, you will work closely with your teammatesin delivering the project plan and client requirements, in addition to supporting the management of project tasks.
Some of the expected tasks are as follows:
Conduct financial analysis and modeling to identify key performance drivers and opportunities for improvement
Develop financial projections, budgets, and business plans
Provide strategic advice and support to clients on financial matters such as mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and risk management
Develop and implement financial controls and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Identify and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that drive business value
Communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner to clients
Outside of project responsibilities, you will participate in internal activities for Sia Partners, alongside your Middle East colleagues, particularly in sharing your knowledge internally and externally. As well as actively support in business development activities, and in supporting the sector and practice champions.
Qualifications
6+ years of consulting background with a focus on Finance
Multi-sector exposure (with emphasis on government, utilities, oil and gas sector companies preferred)
GCC knowledge and experience is a plus
Strong academic background (e.g. Business, Finance, Accounting or related field)
Master degree is a plus, MBA candidates preferred
Fluent in Arabic and English (written and oral)
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt rapidly, and work on a range of different business areas within a challenging environment and tight deadlines
Strong business development capabilities
