As the QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing QHSE management systems in line with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001). You will oversee quality control processes across all projects, conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement, and manage non-conformance reports. Additionally, you will lead safety initiatives by developing safety plans, conducting risk assessments, and investigating accidents to implement corrective actions.
In this role, you will also ensure compliance with environmental regulations by monitoring impact assessments and promoting sustainable practices among employees. You will develop training programs to enhance QHSE practices at all levels within the organization and maintain up-to-date training records. Furthermore, you will engage with stakeholders including clients and regulatory bodies on QHSE matters while representing the company during external audits.
Ideal candidates for this position should hold a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field. A minimum of 12 years of experience in QHSE management within the contracting or construction industry is required along with certifications in QHSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO Lead Auditor). Strong leadership skills coupled with effective communication abilities are essential for managing diverse workforces successfully.
