MAIN PURPOSE
The Business Risk Manager will be responsible for ensuring Cartier MEIAT s compliance by designing, testing and reporting of all internal control systems to meet brand & group standards. He/she will work on operational excellence through having strong attention to details, and a retail-centric and entrepreneurial mindset
The Business Risk Manager would engage with stakeholders, where business performance and client experience are main priorities, and navigate in a complex and ever-changing environment with challenges to thrive in.
Covering the Middle East, Africa, India and T rkiye region across the full network of boutiques, point-of-sales and digital presence, the scope of the role will cover multiple projects to requires to be orchestrated, prioritized, and managed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Boutique Operations and Audit
• Support with review and update of Boutique Operations Manual (BOM) and co-construction with regional, market and international teams
• Ensure Boutique Operation Manual (BOM) are available and updated
• Understand routine boutique operation procedures and help to optimize the business workflow
• Work hand in hand with boutique management to add efficiency to all controls whilst ensuring risk control
• Provide monthly and quarterly training and awareness to boutiques on control requirements, fraud and suspicious behaviors
• Ensure all new joiners are given adapted introduction to compliance and to boutique operations during probation, and vouch for their literacy on the subject
• Implement and monitor adequate reporting framework, tools & controls to ensure compliance
• Perform and follow up on audit findings and provide recommendations to improve control effectiveness at boutiques
• Ensure health & safety procedures are applied, controlled and up to date
Product Compliance
• Collaborate with Group and related departments within the Maison
• Ensure boutique inventories compliance, monitor orchestration, reporting, analysis, and situation rectification
• Optimize and organize all operations related to product compliance to ensure seamless processes
Office Compliance
• Support in reviewing and evaluating significant business risk and process control effectiveness
• Participate in business improvement projects, identify key control, and draft control workflows
• Actively attend monthly and quarterly meetings with Group and related departments within the Maison
Investigations
• Visit retail boutiques/POS, perform Operation Checks (OC), complete related checklists, and provide boutique/POS staffs on-site guidance
• Prepare and revise the OC reports for boutiques/POS
Reports Analysis
• Prepare analysis based on Daily Sales reports to facilitate the Boutique Operation Checks, such as but not exclusively to, exchanges and refunds, deposits, high value transactions, price changes, reservations
• Prepare analysis according to specific requirements such as whistleblowing case, and other boutique issues investigation purpose
Internal Contacts
• Strong functional line of reporting with Finance and Commercial Team
• Liaise with Headquarters, Boutique Area Managers, Commercial Operations Managers, Boutique Managers & Retail teams
• Work closely with Finance and Group Compliance, and Security Team
JOB PROFILE
Education and Required Experience
• Bachelor s degree in a relevant field. Master s degree is a plus.
• Have in-depth knowledge of boutique operations
Technical Skills / Abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English, French and/or Arabic is a plus.
• Experience in handling sensitive/complex matters in a confidential/professional manner
• Ability to quickly assess/understand business situations/transactions to determine the high risk areas, susceptibility to fraud, weaknesses, and areas of improvements
• Ability to quickly assess and understand business issues in an analytical way and provide solutions

• Ability to deal with people from all backgrounds.
• Ability to work flexible hours with frequent travels to the region (UAE, India , T rkiye , KSA, South Africa)
