Hawkwood are delighted to be helping a high-profile Consumer Technology brand in their search for a new Senior Talent Development Manager. This role will form part of the People & Culture leadership team and will line manage 2 x Talent Development Partners and 1 x Talent Development Coordinator.


Our client are one of the most recognisable technology brands in MENA, with this role being located from Dubai in the UAE. They are open to a relocator and will provide funding for a visa as well as some relocation support.



About the role:



This is a newly-created role following a period of expansion for this market-leading Consumer Tech scale-up. The core objective of this hire is to improve the sophistication of the learning & development agenda in the business.


Owning the L&D budget, the incoming Senior Talent Development Manager develop and implement a truly innovate learning & development strategy, designed to maximise the potential of their people.


Responsibilities include:



Design and implement a strategy to embed a leadership culture ,with focus on talent practices & learning & development solutions.
Coach leaders & teams; to create high performance culture through performance development practices & team interventions. .
Design & implement learning & development programs/content to build the skills of the future.
Develop external partnerships with coaching firms & leadership institutes to bring the latest and best in class learning & development experiences for employees & leaders.
Identify high potential talent through bi-annual Talent Reviews and succession planning. Design bespoke programs to accelerate their growth and career progression.
Integrate the Equity, Diversity & Inclusion agenda into our development strategy through learning & creating awareness


About you:



Experience in a specialist Talent Development/Learning & Development role with an international remit
A true Talent Development Specialist (as opposed to a L&D Program Manager) - someone who can see in to the future and bring truly visionary initiatives to the business. Someone who can comprehend a large, sprawling, complex organisation and implement a learning strategy that is tailored and credible to different business areas (e.g technology and operations respectively)
Has prior line management experience
Is capable of influencing senior stakeholders and instinctively sources data to validate their assumptions and aid in presenting their case
Is happy to be located from the UAE
Is ready for a leadership role within a high-profile, complex organisation
