As a Plant Manager at Kirby Building Systems, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall production and administrative control of our plant facility. Your role will involve coordinating with various departments to set production targets aligned with our annual shipment budget. You will drive operational excellence by leading process improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines, and optimizing resource utilization.
Key responsibilities include managing plant employees across all shifts, monitoring production status, driving shipment plans set by project management groups, and facilitating communication between different departments to resolve production-related issues. Additionally, you will be involved in formulating KPIs, monitoring performance metrics of team members, and conducting technical training sessions as needed.
To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or industrial production engineering. An MBA in Operations Management would be an added advantage. Ideal candidates will have 5-6 years of experience as a Production In Charge in the PEB manufacturing or heavy fabrication industry, with a total experience of 20-25 years and an age range between 44-49 years.
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in running PEB/structural fabrication plants, proficiency in ERP software (SAP/Oracle), MS Office skills, and familiarity with AutoCAD. Strong analytical skills are crucial for recognizing process deviations and trends in KPIs. Knowledge of steel fabrication processes such as cutting, welding, punching & drilling is essential. Fluency in English and Hindi is required; knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
