We are looking for a seasoned Finance Manager to look after our cluster of technology verticals finance and treasury operations at CNS, which include: CNS, Gulf Business Solutions (KSA) and our new digital transformation business Code 81.
The job responsibilities include:
1. Management
Maintain overall responsibility for financial operations, including working capital, capital expenditures, debt levels, financial planning strategies, budget, and general accounting.
Develop and/or oversee financial governance, internal controls and safeguards, cost models and financial metrics within the organization.
Maintain a documents system of accounting policies and procedures.
Manage the finance and collections team under the Technology cluster.
2. Funds Management
Forecast cash flow positions, debt requirements, and available funds for investment.
Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
Monitor margins and budgets, cash flow, expenditures, credit control, foreign exchange, and to consult with internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in determining the company's proper capital structure.
3. Budgeting
Manage the preparation of the company's budget.
Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances.
Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction.
4. Financial Analysis
Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company.
Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement.
Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities.
Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput.
Assist in the determination of product pricing in relation to features offered and competitor pricing.
Compile key business metrics and report on them to management.
Manage the capital budgeting process, based on constraint analysis and discounted cash flow analysis.
Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management.
5. Business support role
Review Project Pricing, contracts, and project financing requirements
Working knowledge of project Accounting and Revenue recognition (under IFRS15).
Review and approve of the sales order, project/service Contract Pricing and Contracts.
Contract monitoring of the financial performance of all the projects.
Working knowledge of the GCC VAT and Corporate Tax.
Develop working knowledge of India and Egypt operations and compliance matters.
Drafting policies and procedure for the business.
Developing reports and KPIs for the business team.
Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
Qualified Chartered Accountant
8-10 years within Financial Accounting / 4+ years in a management role.
Experience with 4-5 years in an IT industry role
Experience in the tech sector - ICT / Managed services is desirable.
