Name of Position: Trade Finance Manager
Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Trade Finance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of trade finance operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing cash, optimizing bank allocations for individual trades, and maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions. The Trade Finance Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will be responsible for advising and guiding the Trade Finance staff.
Job Description:
Cash management
Allocation of banks to individual trades,
Communication with banks,
Maintaining/increasing bank credit lines for oil products portfolio,
Advising Trade Finance staff,
Reporting to CFO;
Full cycle of deal financing:
Analysis and approval of financing clause in trade contracts,
Preparation of deal file to banks (deal recap, contract, product movement summary, counterparty analysis, risks involved, deadlines, prices),
Selection of appropriate bank and communication the potential deal,
Agreeing financing terms and preparation of finance instruments (LC, SBLC, guarantee, Bid- bonds, Performance bonds, discounting),
Preparation and approval of finance costs with trader and CFO,
Follow up financed deal,
Import and export documents checking,
Monitoring of stock positions and releases,
Sending release orders to banks,
Ensuring communications between Operations, banks, risk management.
Required skills:
Professional skills in Trade and Commodity Finance/Treasury with a good experience in banking and corporate sphere
Specialist in documentary operations, including import and export letters of credit (L/Cs), collections, guarantees, and SBLCs. Cash management.
To be able to establish strong collaborations with major banks and financial institutions
Provide support to the team in export/import execution, including letters of credit, collections, and guarantees.
