Job Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Human Resource Manager role is to lead and oversee all aspects of HR operations within our company's diverse and dynamic environment across multiple locations, including Dubai, UAE, Beirut, Lebanon, China, and Saudi Arabia. This pivotal position is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the company's mission, vision, and business objectives, while fostering a positive work culture and enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.
Job Description:
As the Human Resource Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing HR strategies that align with the company's mission, vision, and values. You will oversee all aspects of HR operations across our offices in Dubai, UAE, Beirut, Lebanon, China, and Saudi Arabia, ensuring the effective management of our most valuable asset – our people. Your responsibilities will encompass the following areas:
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
Develop and implement robust recruitment strategies to attract, identify, and onboard top-tier talent across diverse functions and geographies.
Partner closely with departmental heads to understand staffing requirements and craft compelling job descriptions that resonate with the desired candidate profiles.
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection, while leveraging both traditional and innovative channels to build a talent pipeline.
Cultivate strong relationships with external recruitment agencies, industry networks, and educational institutions to proactively source and engage potential candidates.
Employee Onboarding and Offboarding:
Design and execute comprehensive onboarding programs that facilitate seamless integration of new employees into the company culture, values, and workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure new hires receive requisite training, resources, and support to accelerate their productivity and effectiveness.
Oversee the offboarding process, conducting exit interviews, analyzing feedback, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance employee retention and satisfaction.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for employees, providing guidance, support, and resolution for a wide range of HR-related issues and concerns.
Develop and implement initiatives to foster a positive work environment, promote employee morale, and strengthen team cohesion through targeted engagement activities, recognition programs, and communication channels.
Proactively identify potential areas of conflict or dissatisfaction and implement preventive measures to mitigate risks and preserve employee well-being and productivity.
Performance Management and Training:
Develop and administer performance management processes and tools, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms, to drive accountability, alignment, and continuous improvement.
Identify skill gaps and training needs through performance assessments and talent development discussions, and coordinate the design and delivery of tailored training programs to enhance employee competencies and career development opportunities.
Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to managers and employees on performance management best practices, conflict resolution, and professional growth strategies.
Payroll, Policies, and HR Compliance:
Oversee payroll processing and administration, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with organizational objectives and legal requirements, ensuring consistency and fairness across the organization.
Stay abreast of changes in UAE labor law and regulatory requirements, advising management on potential implications and ensuring proactive compliance measures are in place.
Conduct periodic audits and assessments to evaluate HR processes, systems, and practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
HR Employee Services and Initiatives:
Design and deliver HR employee services and programs to enhance employee satisfaction, well-being, and engagement, including benefits administration, employee assistance programs, and wellness initiatives.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the organization, fostering an inclusive workplace culture that values and respects differences.
Lead HR initiatives and projects that drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, and employee retention, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity, ideally within a multinational company operating in the Middle East and Asia.
Deep knowledge and understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations, with specific expertise in UAE, Lebanon, China, and Saudi Arabia employment laws and cultural dynamics.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and drive change in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas, resolve conflicts, and facilitate constructive dialogue at all levels of the organization.
Proven track record of designing and implementing HR programs and initiatives that drive employee engagement, performance improvement, and organizational effectiveness.
Proficiency in HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant software applications, with a strong aptitude for data analysis and reporting.
